You are limited by the number of companies that offer SR22, and even fewer will sell you a policy good for Oregon but send your SR22 certificate to another state. Not all insurance companies sell insurance in all states under the same name, making it difficult for that state to accept the form.

For example, a driver buying an SR22 policy from Kemper Auto can provide a certificate to Oregon only. Progressive Insurance, on the other hand, can provide an SR22 nearly anywhere. Dairyland Auto can also give you an SR22 anywhere they operate as Viking Insurance Company.

Remember that you must purchase the insurance in the state where you reside, not the state requiring the SR22. The SR22 serves as an additional layer of proof of insurance, required by the state that has jurisdiction over your SR22. That state does not notify us when you no longer need SR22, so please find out from them what date your requirement expires.
